Pro-Test Instruments runs a series of One-Day Fundamental Thermal Imaging Courses throughout the year- generally on a quarterly basis. 
The fundamentals course will provide the attendee with the knowledge that will allow effective measurements to be made with an infrared camera and avoid the common pitfalls in measurement practices that can result in misdiagnosis of a problem.

Electrical contractors
Power Utility Contractors
Building Maintenance Contractors and Inspectors
Factory Maintenance Engineers & Technicians
All Thermal camera owners that have not attended formal training.

This courses covers:

- The basic principles of thermal physics
- Heat Transfer Theory and Infrared Radiation
- Basic understanding of parameters effecting temperature measurement - focus, distance reflected temperature, emissivity etc
- Image analysis and reporting
- Operating your equipment
- Applications
